# SPITALFIELDS MARKET 1: HERE THERE'S EVERYTHING!

Oggi voglio concludere la giornata parlandovi di SPITALFIELDS MARKET, uno dei più importanti mercati vittoriani di Londra. Questo mercato, dalle grandi dimensioni, è una vetrina importante per giovani fashion designers, handmakers e collezionisti vintage. Situato fra Brick Lane e Bishopgate, raccoglie insieme decine di banchetti, negozi e luoghi di ristoro come caffetterie, creperie e ristoranti. Ha qualcosa in comune, quindi, con un centro commerciale ma è molto di più: ha una storia che risale al 1600 e progetti in fieri che lo rendono innovativo. Ho ricordi molto "dolci" di questo luogo: la "crepe fragole e panna", la cordialità di alcuni venditori e una ragazza pin up che mi ha consigliato alcuni dei miei acquisti. 

Come in tutti i mercatini londinesi bisogna, però, selezionare capi ed accessori vintage e soprattutto "contrattare". Dopo la domanda "last price?", un occhiolino ed il gioco è fatto!

Bellissime leather shoes

Today I want to conclude telling you about the Spitalfields Market, which is still one of the most important victorian markets in London. This large market is an important showcase for young fashion designers, vintage collectors and handmakers. Located between Brick Lane and Bishopgate, gathers together dozens of banquetsshops and dining venues such as cafes, restaurants and creperie. It has got something in common with a shopping center but it is much more: it has a history that dates back to 1600 and projects in progress that make it innovative. I have got very "sweet" memories of this place: the "strawberries and cream crepe," the friendliness of some vendors and a pin up girl who advised me to some of my purchases.

As in all markets in London, you have to select vintage clothes and accessories and especially "negotiate." After the question "last price?", a wink and the game is done!
