VELVET: PEINADOS DE LOS CUARENTA

Oggi vi parlo di capelli, come acconciarli in modo semplice ma charmante! Ovviamente traggo ispirazione dalla fiction Velvet per unirmi al post precedente. Questa fiction mi appassiona non solo per gli intrecci amorosi, ma anche per gli outfits e lo hairstyling. Ogni attrice, infatti, ha uno stile vintage che ricorda gli anni '40: capelli ondulati, frangette ingombranti e abiti semplici con una grande gonna sotto il ginocchio. Premesso che non sono un hairstylist, ciò che vi consiglio è come al solito ciò che sperimento a casa. Mettetevi dei bigodini riscaldati e attendete il più possibile (da 30 min. fino ad un'ora). In commercio, soprattutto presso i fornitori di parrucchieri, ne esistono di ogni tipo e prezzo; altrimenti ricorrete al ferro. In seguito, muoveteli e pettinateli delicatamente ed i vostri boccoli saranno morbidi e perfetti!! Non vorrei deludere alcune di voi, ma questo look è efficace solo su coloro che hanno i capelli spessi e corti. La mia esperienza mi insegna che, su ciocche lunghe come le mie, hanno vita breve:)

Today I'm going to speak about hair, as you straighten out in a simple way but being charming! Of course I am inspired by the fiction Velvet to join to the previous post. This fiction fascinates me not only for the love plots, but also for the outfits and hairstyling. Each actress, in fact, has a vintage style that recalls the 40s: wavy hair, fringes bulky and simple clothes with a big skirt below the knee. Given that I am not a hairstylist, what I recommend is as usual what I tried at home. Put the heated rollers and wait as much as possible (from 30 min. Up to an hour). In trade, especially among suppliers of hairdressers, there are of each type and price; otherwise you resort to iron. Later, move them and gently comb the curls and your rolls will be soft and perfect !! I would not want to disappoint some of you, but this look is only effective on those who have thick and short hair. My experience teaches me that, at long locks like mine, have a short life :)

Paula Echeverria è la protagonista indiscussa di Velvet, un'altra fiction spagnola che sta riscuotendo molto successo in Italia. Con quell'aria imbronciata e quel sorriso travolgente, interpreta una donna moderna e risoluta che difende la veridicità dei sentimenti e lotta a favore del bene comune. E' fuor di dubbio un'attrice preparata, ma ciò che ho notato in lei, è un'attenzione particolare al look. Mi piace come indossa lo street style e al contempo gli abiti di scena dal sapore retrò. Quale saranno i suoi segreti di bellezza? Mi piacerebbe, un giorno, poterla intervistare e rivelarvene alcuni a voi che mi seguite. Uno di questi, però, credo che sia usare poco make-up e adattarlo il più possibile al suo carattere dolce ed ironico. Amo la scelta di prediligere il bianco come colore e di osare spesso con le scollature senza risultare volgare. Insomma, ora è una delle miei attrici preferite in quanto a professionalità e bellezza.

With that sullen and overwhelming smile, she plays a modern and resolute woman who defends the veracity of the feelings and fights for the common good. And there's no doubt she's a great actress, but what I noticed that she keeps attention to the look. I like when she wear street style and at the same time retro outfits. What will be her beauty secrets? One day I would love to interview her and show some of them to my followers. One of these, however, I think she uses a little bit of make-up and adapt it as much as possible to her gentle and ironic nature. I love she prefer white color and often wears daring necklines without being vulgar. In short, it is now one of my favorite actresses in terms of professionalism and beauty.

PLAID SHIRT: HOW TO PUT IT ON!

Bella e brillante, Belen Rodriguez è colei che incarna sensualità e modernità. Ho scelto un paio di foto per introdurvi un nuovo post: come poter indossare la camicia a quadri. Appena la vidi nel suo profilo facebook, infatti pensai: "bellissima, quest'anno anche io la comprerò bianca e nera". Giorni fa l'ho trovata presso lo store di Subdued. Penso che molti di voi lo conoscano; sebbene sia un brand per teens, è adatto per questo tipo di acquisti. Pertanto, vi consiglio di recarvi lì o di comprarla su on-line stores senza spendere molto. Comfty e cool può esser abbinata con una gonna lunga di pelle nera che cinge la vostra vita, aperta con una T-shirt o meglio annodata sopra un paio di jeans a mo' di felpa. Io darei uno sguardo alle foto che seguono, che ne pensate? Attendo numerosi commenti su Facebook e Instagram :)

P.s.: Finalmente è arrivato l'inverno, mettetela anche con un cardigan di cachemire grigio... perché no?

Beautiful and smart, Belen Rodriguez is the woman who embodies sensuality and modernity now. I've chosen a couple of her photos to introduce a new post: how to wear a plaid shirt that is one of the usual fall must-have. As soon as I saw it in her facebook profile, in fact I thought: "Great, this year I'll buy white and black one." Days ago I found it at the store Subdued. I think many of you know it; although it is a brand for teens, but is suitable for this type of purchases. Therefore, I recommend you to go there or to buy it on on-line stores without spending much. Comfty and cool can be paired with a long black leather skirt that surrounds your life, or opened with a T-shirt or better knotted over a pair of jeans as a sweatshirt. VINTAGE SHOPPING TOUR IN ROME

Rione Monti, culla del vintage e dell'urban style, è stata la location di un contest fantastico: Vintage Shopping Tour. Esso, infatti, nasce come viaggio da ripercorrere nella storia di un quartiere nel quale si respira un passato affascinante ma che guarda al futuro della moda. Giovani designers e cultori del vintage gestiscono negozi di nicchia nei quali possiamo trovare un'ampia scelta di capi e di pezzi unici, a volte irripetibili. La differenza fra essi e il normale store è poter acquistare qualcosa che viene fatta con amore, con maggiore originalità e cura rispetto alle grandi firme. Grazie all'idea di Mekomy e alla speaker Sara Snaidero, abbiamo visitato ogni boutique, conversato con i proprietari ed acquistato maggior consapevolezza di quanto possa offrire questo quartiere.
Ad ogni edera che cresce su un palazzo, c'è un calice di vino che si leva in piazza Madonna dei Monti. Ad ogni negozio che chiude, una lacrima scende ma un sorriso nasce perché solo lì c'è chi investe nel second hand clothing e chi ha coraggio di fare della sua creatività un vero e proprio lavoro.

Vi invito a farvi una passeggiata e a fare tanto shopping che fa bene al nostro mood!! Vi invito, soprattutto, a curiosare nella pagina Facebook di Mekomy in modo tale che possiate scoprire Roma con gli occhi di chi la vive giornalmente e la conosce fin dalla nascita.

Rione Monti, the cradle of vintage and urban style, was the location of stunning contest: Vintage Shopping Tour. In fact, it began as a journey to retrace the history of a neighborhood where you can feel the imprint a fascinating past and looks to the future of art, craft and fashion. Young designers and lovers of vintage shops open niche shops in which we can find a wide and unrepeatable selection of stuff. The difference between them and the normal store is to buy something that is made with love, with greater originality and care than the big brands. Thanks to the idea of Mekomy and speaker Sara Snaidero we visited every boutique, spoke to the owners and acquired a greater awareness of what is possible in this district. For any ivy that goes down the buildings, there is a glass of wine gets up in Piazza Madonna dei Monti. For every store that closes, a tear drops but a smile arises because just there you find those who invest in second hand clothing and who has the courage to do his creative a real work.

COIN EXCELSIOR IN ROME

Oggi vi scrivo in merito al bellissimo evento di ieri presso la Coin Excelsior in Roma.

Ho avuto il piacere di assistere al backstage e alla sfilata tenutasi nello stesso store in Via Cola di Rienzo. Le modelle indossavano abiti provenienti dai corners, i quali sono numerosi e super ... credetemi! Scendevano dalla scala mobile mentre il pubblico era attento alla nuova collezione autunnale e ammirava la loro professionalità e bellezza. E' stato uno spettacolo che ha conquistato molte persone lì presenti, me compresa. Vi invito, inoltre, a visitare il sito di riferimento e a cercare lo store a voi più vicino per fare shopping. Chiunque avesse, poi, la possibilità di recarsi a Roma, rimarrà stupito per la cordialità delle commesse e la scelta degli outifts.

Per chi, invece, già vuole qualche consiglio sulla stagione che tarda ad arrivare: le foto raccontano quello che già presumevo guardando le vetrine. Lo stile retrò e classico non muore mai e torna incisivo: gonne a palloncino o longuette, camicie di seta, il colore bianco e nero soprattutto. A mio avviso, una mescolanza fra gli anni '50 e '60 che sono stati anni decisivi nella moda. Promuoverei tutto ma boccerei il color vinaccia che è presente da troppo tempo ed il senape perché credo non mi doni affatto con il colore del mio incarnato :)

Today I have written about last wonderful event at the Coin Excelsior in Rome. 

I could attended the backstage and fashion show at the same store in Via Cola di Rienzo. The models wore clothes from the corners, which are numerous and super ... believe me! They came down the escalator while the audience was attentive to the new fall collection and admired their professionalism and beauty. This show won many people present there, including me. I invite you also to visit the reference site and look for the store nearest you for shopping. Then, anyone can go to Rome, will be amazed by the friendliness of the shop assistants and the choice of outifts.

For those who already want some advice on the season collection which is late in coming: the photos tell what we already assumed from the shop windows. The retro and classic style never dies and comes back teeth: bubble skirts or midi, silk shirts, the color white and black above. In my opinion, a mixture between the 50s and 60s that were decisive years in fashion. I promote all but reject the burgundy color that is has been for a long time.
