LUXURY SUITES AT PALAZZO VASARRI

Un week-end diverso: niente aperitivo e caos, ma solo verde, aria e cibo buoni.

Arrivata in tarda sera, in quel di Montevarchi, serena come una bambina e desiderosa di scoprire un altro paese del nostro meraviglioso paese. E' in provincia di Arezzo, a 50 km circa di Firenze. Piccolo, ma molto accogliente. Qualche locale e negozio di nichhia.

Il tempo di gustare una splendida tartare di chianina e una passeggiata fra i negozi di moda che costeggiavano il centro storico: anche qui il maculato fa da padrone. 

Una "toccata e fuga" per poter respirare l'allegria dei toscani e staccarsi dalla routine romana. 

Scrivo, però, questo post per ringraziare l'accoglienza e la professionalità di Palazzo Vasarri.

La luxury suite, nella quale ho alloggiato, si contraddistingue per il design moderno. Sono rimasta piacevolmente stupita dalla comodità: doccia capiente, luci ovunque (soprattutto sopre il letto per poter leggere), persiane automatiche etc. IL contesto è chiaramente uno dei miei preferiti, con i soffitti decorati ed alti e una scalata imperiale per accedere ai piani superiori.

Quel silenzio lo cerco ancora che è Lunedì e sono a Roma, chiusa in casa a lavorare al computer per programmare le lezioni della prossima settimana. Dove sono quei sorrisi delle persone? La pazienza dei negozianti? Il cibo così genuino?

Insomma, la location è fantastico, il team molto efficiente, i prezzi sono al di sotto di quelli che siamo abituati nelle grandi città, perché non andare? Se vi piace la Toscana, è un punto stragetico, un luogo dove pernottare.

E quando andrete a fare colazione, non chiedete la spremuta d'arancia, bensì la "spuma". Lì la chiamano così!

A different weekend: no aperitif and chaos, but only green, air and good food.
Arrived in late evening, in that of Montevarchi, serene as a child and eager to discover another country of our wonderful country. It is in the province of Arezzo, about 50 km from Florence. Small, but very welcoming. Some local and nichhia shops.
Time to enjoy a splendid Chianina tartare and a walk through the fashion shops that lined the old town: even here the spotted is king.
A "touch and go" in order to breathe the joy of the Tuscans and get away from the Roman routine.
However, I write this post to thank the hospitality and professionalism of Palazzo Vasarri.
The luxury suite, in which I stayed, stands out for its modern design. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort: large shower, lights everywhere (especially sopre the bed to read), automatic blinds etc. The context is clearly one of my favorites, with high and decorated ceilings and an imperial climb to access the upper floors.
I'm still looking for the silence that is Monday and I'm in Rome, closed at home to work on the computer to plan the lessons for next week. Where are those people's smiles? The patience of shopkeepers? The food so genuine?
In short, the location is fantastic, the team is very efficient, prices are below what we are used to in big cities, why not go? If you like Tuscany, it is a stragetico point, a place to stay overnight.
And when you go for breakfast, do not ask for the orange juice, but the "froth". There they call it that!
