WEDDING DRESS CODE AT VILLA TORLONIA IN ROME

Vi avevo detto che c'era in riserbo per voi una bella sorpresa, e come consuetudine, mantengo le promesse. Volevo ricominciare a scrivere nel blog con idee originali, che si identificano con la mia personalità. Sono nati, perciò, alcuni progetti fotografici a tema con Barbara Giovannini. Con lei collaborai per uno shooting con gli outfits di Not your Dolls (Rione Monti, Roma), oggi siamo diventate amiche e vi mostreremo come le donne siano letteralmente una forza della natura insieme.

La ringrazio, anzitutto, per la pazienza e la professionalità che mi regala e per aver accolto come buona ogni proposta di location.

Per questi fashion projects ho cercato di pensare a ogni situazione della vita: dal contesto formale a quello più informale.

Ho iniziato, però, con un outfit ideale per un matrimonio. Non sono solita vestirmi elegante, mettermi il tacco alto, ma amo il pizzo, soprattutto quello rosa antico. E' estremamente raffinato, sia per la sposa, sia per le ospiti femminili.

Questo vestito di Zara ha quelle rouches sulle braccia che lo rendono meno conforme a un vestito di pizzo. Ho abbinato una scarpa lucida nera di Danielle (Piazza Risorgimento, Roma) e una borsa di sartoria, con un intarzio di paillettes. Trucco poco, ma necessario per avere un aspetto più bello, ora che ho perso l'abbronzatura. Vi consiglio Ivory di Clinique come fondotinta, per il resto a voi la scelta. Io ho applicato sulle guance un pò di illuminante e di blush della Collistar. Un segreto per creare un effetto cool dell'ombretto?! Bagnate il pennellino e poi truccatevi. Avrete palpebre come se colorate con il computer, tanto saranno perfette. 

Ora spendo una parola sulla location, concludendo.

Amo tutti giardini romani, si sa che ci sono molte ville belle. Villa Torlonia, però, è vicino all'Università (Villa Mirafiori), dove ho studiato. Quando mi reco lì, il mio cuore batte fortissimo e tutti i ricordi appaiono vividi. E' uno di questi posti che mi dà serenità e mi fa ricordare quanto la mia vita mi abbia anche dato: soddisfazioni, divertimenti, amiche e goie.

Perdonatemi se ogni tanto mi do latitante, ma ho bisogno di ricaricarmi e di conciliare questa passione con il mio attuale lavoro.

I told you that there was a nice surprise for you and I keep my promises as usual. I wanted to start writing in the blog with original ideas that identify with my personality. Therefore, some themed photographic projects were born with Barbara Giovannini. I worked with her for a shooting for the outfits of Not your Dolls (Rione Monti, Rome), today we have become friends and we will show you how women are literally a force of nature together.
First of all, thank you for the patience and professionalism that it gives me and for having welcomed any proposal of location as good.
I tried to think about every situation in life for these fashion projects: from the formal to the more informal.
I started, however, with an ideal outfit for a wedding. I'm not used to dress elegant, put on high heels, but I love lace, especially antique pink. It is extremely refined, both for the bride and female guests.
This Zara dress has those ruches on the arms that make it less conform to a usual lace dress. I combined a shiny black shoe by Danielle (Piazza Risorgimento, Rome) and a tailor's bag, with an inlay of sequins. Little makeup, but needed to look nicer now that I've lost my tan. I recommend Ivory di Clinique as a foundation, for the rest the choice is yours. I applied a bit of illuminant and blush of Collistar on my cheeks. A secret to create a cool effect of the eyeshadow ?! Wet the brush and then make up. You will have eyelids as if colored with the computer, so they will be perfect.
Now I spend a word on the location, concluding.
I love all Roman gardens, you know that there are many beautiful villas. Villa Torlonia, however, is near the University (Villa Mirafiori), where I studied. When I go there, my heart beats very strong and all the memories appear vivid. It's one of these places that gives me serenity and makes me remember how much my life has also given me: satisfaction, entertainment, friends and goie.
I hope you like it and look forward to a subsequent shoot.
Forgive me if sometimes I give myself a fugitive, but I need to recharge and reconcile this passion with my current job.
