I Sex Pistols, noti "punk a bestia", gridavano God Save the Queen, a noi non resta che dire God save us from Pippa Middleton!!! 

Grazie al matrimonio del secolo, ossia fra la sorella Kate e il principe William, è diventata per molti un sex symbol. "Paparazzata" in ogni dove (anche in situazioni scabrose), il suo lato B suscita ancora l'invidia di molte donne e l'ammirazione di molti uomini. 

Dopo mesi, è lecito domandarsi: "Ma quel vestito sarà stata una scelta casuale o voluta? I maligni, come me, pensano che stia costruendo la sua fama alle spalle della sorella;). Giusta o sbagliata che sia, questa strategia, le ha permesso di raggiungere il suo obiettivo: è riuscita a catturare l'attenzione dei media e ora, come annuncia Vanity Fair del 12 Dicembre, ha pubblicato un libro di cucina tradizionale inglese. Così non solo continua la pubblicazione di libri in questo settore ad opera di giovani donne poco preparate in campo culinario, ma constatiamo ogni volta il desiderio di tradurre l'acquisita visibilità in un business immediato.

"Italiani, mi volete a cena? (Cucino io)", è il titolo dell'articolo, nonchè la copertina di questa settimana. 

Sarei curiosa di sapere cosa pensano i maschi italiani, ma ancor di più le donne!!!

Finiti gli anni universitari, Kate e Pippa vantano il primato di bellezza e di eleganza. Per quanto riguarda l'eleganza avrei qualche dubbio: magrissime e vestite sempre easy, però rigorosamente scollate e con mini gonne. E' pur vero che vogliono catturare la simpatia del popolo inglese, vestendo nei grandi magazzini, ma perchè non farci sognare con abiti griffati?!

A voi l'ardua sentenza...Io, onestamente, mi faccio una grande risata!

After their university years, Kate and Pippa have the primacy of beauty and elegance. With regard to the elegance I have some doubt: skinny and dressed always easy, however, strictly low-cut and mini skirts. It's also true that they want to capture the sympathy of the English people, dressed in department stores, but why not make us dream with designer clothes?!

To you the judge ... I, honestly, I do a great laugh!

                                  REALLY CHOOSY??

E' giusto o sbagliato esser schizzinosa? Questo è il grande quesito oggi cui rispondono le lettrici di Cosmopolitan e soprattutto cui io vorrei dare una risposta dopo che un certo "tal dei tali", erroneamente, mi fece questa critica prevedibile.
Si evince (come presumevo) che le ragazze non sono proprio così choosy: fanno i lavori più disparati, spesso sottopagati e ogni giorno "sfornano" nuove idee. Si sa, noi donne non ci demoralizziamo, cerchiamo noi stesse tutta la vita, ci interroghiamo sul nostro futuro e riusciamo a vivere anche nelle situazioni più impensabili.
Bisogna, però, anche riconoscere che siamo un pò più choosy rispetto alle donne che si trovano all'estero. Altrove si viaggia di più, si fanno esperienze al di fuori della propria nazione e si acquisisce velocemente un equilibrio interiore.
Non dimenticherò mai una frase che mi disse una mia amica: "en la vida no puedes elegir". Forse un pensiero radicale, ma lei dicendo "nella vita non puoi scegliere" voleva persuadermi a non mollare mai anche quando si svolgono lavori non attinenti al proprio percorso di studi o alla sfera dei propri desideri. Lei, come molte persone che ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare, si arrangiano e cambiano lavoro anche solo dopo 3 mesi.
Dunque, è solo nostra la colpa o il problema ha radici diverse? Vivere e crescere in un contesto come il nostro, certamente non aiuta. Se sei laureata e fai la cameriera in un pub, non ti elogiano, ma ti commiserano come se vivessi ai margini della società. Se ti cimenti in qualcosa che a che fare con l'ambito artistico (pittura, musica, scrittura, per esempio) non lavori, ma fingi di farlo. La nostra società è piena di cliches e tabù che non ci permettono di fare esperienza serenamente e ci chiude le porte ogniqualvolta sbagliamo. Ciò ci spinge, spesso, a cercare fortuna fuori dell'Italia perché veniamo apprezzate e ci danno una possibilità indipendentemente dalla laurea.
Credo, poi, che non siamo così esigenti, ma vorremmo (dopo aver passato anni sui libri) realizzare i nostri sogni. Don't give up dreaming e se il prezzo da pagare è esser considerate pretenziose, faremo lo sforzo di ingoiare questo boccone amaro e non smetteremo di ambire a una cosa che ci piace.
Essere felici è un nostro diritto?








Is it right or wrong to be choosy? Today this is the big question, whom the readers of magazine Cosmopolitan reply and especially I would reply to someone who made this predictable criticism mistakenly.
It is clear that (as I assumed) the girls are really choosy: do odd jobs, often underpaid and every day, "bring out" new ideas. You know, we women do not demoralize, we seek ourselves all life, we ask ourselves about our future and we can live even in the most unthinkable situations.
We must, however, also recognize that we are a little more choosy than in other countries. Elsewhere you travel more, you have experiences abroad and there is a interior balance first.
I will never forget a phrase that a friend of mine told me: "en la vida no puedes elegir." Perhaps a radical thought, but she said "in life you can not choose" wanted to persuade me to never give up even when you do jobs not related to their studies or to the sphere of one's desires. She, like many people I have had the good fortune to meet, make do and change jobs after only 3 months.
Therefore, it is only our fault or has different roots? Live and grow in an environment like ours, of course, does not help. If you are a graduate and work as waitress in a pub, do not you praise, but I commiserate as a borderline person. If you try something new about arts (painting, music, writing, for example) do not work, but pretend to do so. Our society is full of cliches and taboos that do not allow us to experience peacefully and it closes the doors whenever we make mistakes. This often leads us to seek their fortune outside Italy because we are appreciated and they give us a chance regardless of the degree.
I think, then, that we are not so demanding, but we'd like (after spending years on the books) to realize our dreams. Do not give up dreaming and if this is the price to be considered pretentious, we will make an effort to swallow this bitter pill and will not stop to aspire to something that we like.
Be happy is our right?

Chi é questa giovane diva nella foto? Se la guardate con attenzione, noterete delle somiglianze.
Dopo un restyling da modella-attrice ecco a voi Riley Keough, bella come non mai.
Figlia di Lisa Marie Presley e quindi nipote del grande cantante Elvis Presley, in poco tempo è entrata a far parte del show business mentre la madre (ormai 45enne) riscuote successo nel panorama musicale. Mi verrebbe da dire: "Coraggiosa, la figlia di un mito del rock'roll!". Tuttavia, apprezziamo l'originalità del suo cd Storm & Grace, la volontà di emergere e di trovare una propria identità.
Non credo sia facile crescere senza un padre e vivere all'ombra di tale personaggio.
Non si può certamente dire, però, che lei o la figlia non abbiano goduto di ogni cosa che la vita può offrirti.
E Riley? E' attratta dal mondo del fashion e del cinema, come darle torto. Posa come modella per D&G, ha fatto una pubblicità per Tommy Hilfiger e la vedrete prossimamente in Mad Max.
Non metto in dubbio le sue velleità artistiche, ma non si può negare che sia nata sotto una stella favorevole.
Alta, bionda, molto più americana della madre nel suo stile, ma riuscirà a star lontana dagli eccessi di questo mondo o cadrà nela trappola come il nonno?
Nessuno ha dimenticato Elvis e come la giornalista di Vanity Fair, diciamo: "Nonno Elvis guardala e proteggila!". Dopo la moda o il cinema, produrrà un cd? Aspettando delle news, possiamo confermare che sia single.

Nel volume II di Elle di Marzo 2013 la cover girl è Scarlett Johansson. Giovane attrice talentuosa, il cui pigmaglione fu Woody Allen, svela se stessa in una lunga intervista di Alex Bilmes.
Ora 28 enne, inizia la sua carriera a 8 anni, lasciando il quartiere di Greenwich Village (noto per il serial tv di Sex & City) per vivere molte esperienze lavorative entusiasmanti.
Dopo un matrimonio fallito, sogna una vita piena di passione e un uomo creativo che la sappia stupire.
Non si può certo dire che sia una skinny girl e tra le righe capiamo che quel suo essere "curvy" è stata una delle tante chiavi del suo successo: la ragazza con il viso pulito, ma dalle forme sinuose viene soprannominata la nuova Marilyn Monroe. Lei non si sente tale, non le piacerebbe esser un'icona che cammina con outfits rétro sul red carpet, ma una giovane ragazza equilibrata che come tante ragazze ama divertirsi.

Inseparabile dal fidanzato, si distingue per il suo stile street-chic e afferma di voler convivere con lui al più presto. Recentemente, entrambi sono diventati testimonials del brand Sisley poiché rispecchiano un modo di vivere molto rock. Sembrerebbe, quindi, una ragazza semplice di 21 anni che vive il suo amore come tutte le sue coetanee. Onestamente, stentiamo a credere alle sue dichiarazioni visto che è cresciuta nell'agio, in una casa di 26 stanze e sta divenendo assai popolare nel mondo del fashion. Credo che esser la figlia di un'icona del rock anni '70 abbia agevolato la sua carriera nella moda. Nessuno, tuttavia, la giudica; anzi deve usare la sua bellezza in un mondo che pone al primo posto l'aspetto fisico.
Da tutti paragonata alla Bardot per le labbra carnose, la sua più grande preoccupazione è la fessura fra gli incisivi. Perché questa lotta verso la perfezione? Perché non aver stima di noi stessi e consapevolezza dei nostri difetti? Spezziamo una lancia a favore di una giovane ragazza che sta crescendo e prende coscienza di sé, ma rimaniamo allibiti dinanzi ai 7 figli di Jagger. Ci chiediamo, infine, ma quando avrà trovato il tempo? E soprattutto, quante battaglie legali avrà vinto o perso? Non ci pronunciamo su Jagger come uomo, ma proviamo tanta ammirazione per il rocker.
